2nd Annual Acres Homes Juneteenth Resource Fair

The 2nd Annual Acres Homes Juneteenth Resource Fair, is a collaboration between Baylor College of Medicine Teen Health Clinic and Harris County Precinct 1, to celebrate this historic event and to provide community resources for members of the Acres Homes community.

As part of the day’s festivities, the Houston Food Bank Food Bank will be on site starting at 9am-11am to distribute 10 pallets of food at no cost. Then from 12-3pm, community vendors will be available to educate and answer questions concerning their services to community members. Health screenings and food/beverages will be provided for free. Free entertainment consisting of a Step Show will run from 3-5pm.

We are looking for volunteers to either help distribute food from the Food Bank Food Truck in the morning or to help serve food and beverages in the afternoon.
