This is for all new and current DOVE (disaster operations volunteer escapees) members

REQUIRED TRAINING
As its mission, the American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. In support of the American Red Cross, the mission of DOVE is to

1) Recruit Escapees RV Club members for Red Cross Disaster Services
2) Assist DOVE members in obtaining training as Red Cross disaster operations volunteers
3) Provide DOVE members with timely information about Red Cross disaster relief operations
4) Provide volunteer assistance to the Red Cross whenever and wherever practical.

DOVE invites all RVers who want to become Red Cross disaster volunteers to join us. To become a DOVE,

1) Join Escapees RV Club at｠ www.escapees.com, pay annual dues.
2) Complete the DOVE membership application at｠ www.dovebof.org, pay annual dues (7.50 first year, includes decal & mailing, 5.00 each year after. Dues year begins on January 1 and ends on December 31)
3) Join a Red Cross chapter at｠ www.redcross.org, and begin training in disaster services.
