Mission Statement
Utilizing community resources and volunteer para-professionals, the Macomb County Crisis Center provides an array of prevention services to promote healthy outcomes for persons who are or may be at risk.
Description
The Macomb County Crisis Center is a 24/7 crisis counseling service. We provide crisis counseling as well as information and referrals to anyone in need. We are Macomb County's National Suicide Prevention Lifeline Member Center and accredited by the American Association of Suicidology. Crisis Center services beyond the telephone include MERG, a team that responds to criticial incidents in the community; SOS, providing support, education and healing to those who have lost a loved on to suicide; and our community education programs.
