Title/Position: Food Server

Program: Feeding America Program at La Casita

Goal of Position: To assist the after school program at La Casita

Benefits:

  • Serving the children in the community a healthy meal to assist with their ability to concentrate in the after school program
  • Being part of a team that serves all of the school aged children in this neighborhood of Oceanside
  • Free agency wide trainings including Social Services Program Training, Mediation Training, and more!

Tasks/ Responsibilities:

  • Assist with serving well balanced meals each day to children in the Crown Heights neighborhood
  • Each day 40-60 meals will be prepared and served
  • Count and sign each child in as they receive their meal
  • Will be needed at least once a week
  • Must be able to volunteer on any of the following days
    • Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays - 3:15-4:45PM, Wednesdays 2-3PM

Requirements:

1. Complete a volunteer application at www.nclifeline.org

2. Complete Volunteer Interview and Orientation/ Training with NCLL
