Crossroads Safehouse can shelter anywhere from 4-20 children at one time. Let's add a little bit of cheer to their stay and make the kiddos crafting kits! In assembly line form, we will put together kits to make puppets. (I will have all the materials). Small children can throw sequins into the bag, while older children can count out the eyes, felt, etc. and place in the kit. And we will have lots of fun doing it!!
Here is a little bit about Crossroads Safehouse (taken from their website). "For 34 years, abused women and children have come to Crossroads Safehouse in Fort Collins. Here they have found safety, shelter, and the personal assistance and resources they need to build lives without violence."
