• To aid learners in developing short and long term goals toward their future success.

• To provide a digital learning program that encompasses core curriculum (math, science, English, social studies and some specials) and develop leadership skills

• Connect learners with pathways that ignite their passion

Description

The Learning Lab (TLL) is a community-based education hub that that provides tools and resources to empower learners to grow and develop academically. TLL provides a core academic program that allows learns to focus their learning in a personal and individualized way. TLL focuses on learners’ individual learning needs and interests. Through our program learners focus on achieving and strengthening their core academics while also exploring and targeting their interests at the MIC, as well as figuring out and understanding who they are and what they want in life. TLL believes in "Developing Learners for a Changing World". At TLL every learner will be inspired and supported to become conscious learners, critical thinkers, and change visionaries and life-long collaborators.

TTLL empower learners to take charge of their own learning and provides them with options to reach their learning goals, through an intensive assessment process and the implementation of a carefully devised personalized learning plan to meet the learners’ needs. This teaching and learning model will be supported by a technology-based learning program that focuses on core academic classes (Math, Science, History, & English) and some select electives that will be available based on the learners needs. Select electives will be supported by additional partnerships with other local and abroad organizations such as... MIC-AMPED, etc;
