The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is looking for volunteers to help with Starry Night Atlanta 8.5K. We're specifically looking for help in obtaining local sponsors for the event.

The Starry Night 8.5K walk/run supports the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s efforts to help kids fighting one of the deadliest forms of childhood cancer. Why 8.5K? Because more than 28,000 kids in the United States are living with a brain tumor. One step for each of these Stars equals 8.5K.

The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation helps by funding lifesaving medical research and life-changing family support programs.

This volunteer position requires:

  • Knowledge of the local area, businesses and potential partner organizations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional attitude
  • Willingness to help children in need

Our mission is in support of the efforts of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation of the United States, a non-profit charitable 501(c)(3) foundation that seeks to: find the cause and cure of childhood brain tumors through the support of medical research increase public awareness about the severity and prevalence of childhood brain tumors aid in early detection and treatment of childhood brain tumors support a national database on all primary brain tumors provide hope and emotional support for the thousands of children and families affected by this life threatening disease.
