Back on My Feet is seeking volunteers to serve on the Marathon Relay Planning Committee. As a planning committee member, you will assist with the planning of the 2015 Back on My Feet Marathon Relay, which will be held on Saturday, October 3 at White River State Park.
Committee Expectations:
When you become a Committee Member for the 2015 Back on My Feet Marathon Relay, you develop a stronger commitment to Back on My Feet Indianapolis. You, along with your fellow Committee Members, are assisting with producing an event that will impact of the lives of individuals in your local community. Through your involvement, you are helping to raise awareness about homelessness in Indianapolis and to raise funds to support Back on My Feet Indianapolis and its mission.
As a Marathon Relay Committee Member you will:
- Attend all committee meetings (at least three meetings will be scheduled; more will be added if necessary).
- Promote the event to assist with race registration.
- Assist with brainstorming and securing prize items.
- Assist with event set up and/or tear down on the day of the Marathon Relay.
- Serve as the Host Committee for the Marathon Relay.
