On Saturday May 30th the Exchange Club of Greater Durham will be hosting the first annual Durham Blues & Brews Festival supporting local Durham charities, including the Exchange Family Center of Durham and their programs to fight child abuse.
Located in Durham’s historic Central Park this will be a fun adult event with great local bands and North Carolina craft beer. Supporting local charities, local bands and local breweries, the Durham Blues & Brews Festival is looking for fun and energetic volunteers to help make this first event a memorable success.
This four hour shift will need volunteers age 21 or older to help with line management, perimeter and greeting ticket holders. Volunteers will receive an event t-shirt. Please email me your men's size!
In addition, volunteers plus a guest are invited to a great after party scheduled for Sunday afternoon June 7th at the historic Rickhouse. Durham's own Voices Carry will perform 80's cover tunes where you get to be the lead singer! Real band karaoke cannot be described, it has to be experienced!
So, please bring a guest and have fun while volunteering for a great cause! If you have any questions please email me at chiproe426@gmail.com.
Volunteers are prohibited from drinking while at the event! However, if the shift ends during the event the volunteer is welcome to stay without paying.
