Transit Ambassadors
Transit Ambassador Team

If you love helping people improve their quality of life, this volunteer opportunity is perfect for you!

Transit Ambassador volunteers help people maintain, gain, or regain their independence by helping them get comfortable using public transportation in south Placer County.

Do you use the bus to get where you need to go? If so, your experience can benefit someone else who would like to use the bus but are afraid to try it alone, or, need help planning their bus trip.

Would you like to learn how to use the bus to get where you need to go and then help others? This volunteer program includes a training program that is customized to your level of experience using the bus. Even if you have never used public transportation, you can volunteer for this program if you have a desire to learn and then help others.

As a Transit Ambassador you can make a significant contribution to your community by dedicating 5 hours per month, as it fits into your schedule, helping people learn how to ride the bus. Lives can be changed when transportation is no longer a barrier to getting to work, school, medical appointments, social outings and shopping. Our environment benefits too!

Volunteer as a Transit Ambassador today!
