The Lands Council is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented volunteer to update our online and in-house databases of volunteer and donor contacts, and to prerform various other tasks to support our Development department. Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about many aspects of our organization, gaining exposure to non-profit operations, and the dedicated work of The Lands Council. Volunteers will also gain experience supporting office administration and data management under the mentorship of our staff.

Description
Volunteers are the backbone of all grassroots activism. When you volunteer, you play a vital role in making lasting change and improving conditions for the future. And, whether you want to meet new people or learn more about environmental concerns facing your area, volunteering with The Lands Council is a great place to begin. Getting involved can also be a great way to build career skills, gain experience, and invest in a worthy cause. No matter what your skill level, we can use your help. Our volunteer opportunities include work with conservation-related events, as well as community outreach and office assistance, including bulk mailing preparation, tabling and outreach, special events, and more.
