Mission Statement
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette funds and produces Pops on the River - an annual free event for July 4th.
The event is now partnered with the Arkansas Community Foundation to create a charitable fund called the Pops on the River Charitable Fund.
Description
Pops on the River, presented by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, will take place Saturday, July 4, in downtown Little Rock. In its 32nd year, the annual event has expanded to include more activities, additional hours, bigger fireworks show and a larger event site. This free community event is the largest Fourth of July event in the state as more than 30,000 are drawn downtown to the events surrounding Pops on the River.
Each year the event donates a portion of the proceeds to a local charity. This year's charity is Easter Seals of Arkansas.
