Adventurous Volunteers Needed for Summer Camp for Kids and Teens with Autism

Easter Seals Florida is looking for dedicated individuals that have a passion for helping children with autism reach their full potential.

The Easterseals Academy Naples provide educational and academic programming for students 6-12 (aged 11 to 22) who have autism and/or developmental disabilities.

Volunteer responsibilities include:
-Reading to students
-Helping students with daily activities in class
-Cleaning and organizing the classroom
-Keeping students in a calm state during activities and readings
-Assist during snack time and while on the playground
-Chaperoning field trips

Skills Required:
-Strong communication skills
-Good organizational skills and proficiency in writing and grammar
-Prior tutoring experience a plus
-Patience and the ability to work well with students with autism
-Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
-Punctuality and reliability
-Willingness to learn

Flexible Volunteer Shifts:
Monday to Friday
Between 8am and 3pm
