The Lansing Educational Advancement Foundation and Lansing Public Schools are partnering to develop a summer reading program for children in first through third grade. The aim of the program is to keep kids intellectually engaged throughout the summer by spending time reading and talking with a reading mentor.

We are in the beginning stages of soliciting volunteers for this program, which will require volunteers to attend one training session.

The opportunity will be at one or more Lansing Public Elementary school.
