Help Lakewold Gardens plant our formal parterre beds during a work party on Wednesday, May 20th! We will meet at 10:30am and work until 2:30pm, and volunteers are asked for a 2 hour shift. We will be planting the flowers Angelonia 'Improved Blue' and New Guinea 'Celebraty Lavander', as well as foliages Persian Shield and Silver Point begonia.

To sign up, email kredding@lakewoldgardens.org or call 253-584-4106 x106. Staff will be available to answer questions and offer assistance through out the day. Please dress for the weather and feel free to bring snacks along.

Anyone interested in helping to prepare the beds for planting (by weeding and cutting back spring bulbs) is invited to also come the week before on May 13th, from 10:30am to 2:30pm.

If you'd like to attend, but are unable to stay for at least two hours or want to come after 10:30am, please let us know when you reply so we can make arrangements! We hope you can join us. Find out more about Lakewold, a National Historic Site, at www.lakewoldgardens.org.
