If you love to garden, join Lakewold Gardens for a community work party on Wednesday, May 13th to prepare our parterre beds for planting (to follow next week on the 20th). We will be preparing the beds at our for planting by weeding and cutting back the spring bulbs. We will meet at 10:30am and work until 2:30pm. That's a long day of gardening, so feel free to stay for only two hours--we still need the help!

To sign up, email kredding@lakewoldgardens.org or call 253-584-4106 x106. Staff will be available to offer assistance and answer questions throughout the day. Please dress appropriately for the weather and feel free to bring snacks along.

Volunteers are invited, though not required, to return as we plant the beds on May 20th from 10:30 to 2:30.

If you'd like to attend, but are unable to stay for at least two hours or want to come after 10:30am, please let us know when you reply. We hope you can join us in the garden, and you can find out more about Lakewold at www.lakewoldgardens.org.
