Be the first to see new works of art by LA-based artists by becoming an event volunteer!

We hope you can join us on Saturday, February 20th for the reception for three exhibitions: The Wedding by Elham Rokni, Tomorrow is Yesterday by Søren Hüttel, and a video installation by Vishal Jugdeo.

These three shows will showcase the international scope and high-quality of art which is produced at 18th Street Arts Center throughout the year.

We need volunteers to support event set-up, breakdown, and hospitality.

The event from 6-8PM

Volunteer shifts are from 4:30 - 8:30PM.

We ask that volunteers dress in black business casual attire and comfortable shoes. Black Jeans are okay.

18th Street Arts Center is an artists’ residency program that provokes public dialogue through contemporary art-making. We value art-making as an essential part of a vibrant, just, and healthy society. Through our artist residencies we are a contemporary art hub that fosters inter-cultural collaboration and dialogue. 18th Street’s residencies, exhibitions, public events, talks, and publications encourage, showcase, and support the creation of cutting-edge contemporary art and foster collaboration and interaction between artists locally, nationally, and internationally.
