The Games for Life is the only event of its kind that is specifically adapted for residents of long term care. Residents from Central Texas nursing homes and assisted living facilities compete in six individual and team challenges, including balloon volleyball, racing, throwing, spelling and dominoes. Organized by CASACA (Capital Area Social & Activity Coordinators Association, Inc), the Games now take place in Austin, San Antonio and Dallas. Houston will hopefully be added in 2017.

"As you get older, that spirit of competition doesn’t die, it just goes dormant. But at the moment they reach the finish line, the feeling - the very same feeling they thought they would never feel again - comes bursting through amidst a fury of praise and revelry. It’s a feeling that each participant will remember and what keeps them coming back year after year."~Jeff Brown, President of CASACA

We are needing people to assit with the set up and break down of this event as well as assit in the various errands and messages an event of this time.
