The Child Creativity Lab offers educational outreach programs that focus on creativity-enhancing stimulation and inspiration in alignment and in support of overarching California State Department of Education initiatives for pre-Kindergarten through 8th graders. The Child Creativity Lab will be at Spurgeon Intermediate School in Santa Ana and leading a hands-on, STEM-based workshop that allow children to express there own unique creative personalities, while enhancing critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to work creatively and collaboratively with others. Spurgeon Intermediate serves a large number of underserved, low-income children. Volunteers will interact with these wonderful kids, encourage them to express their unique creative personalities, and assist with putting together the creations.

Description
Child Creativity Lab offers educational programs that focus on creativity-enhancing stimulation and inspiration in alignment and in support of NGSS for elementary age students, K-6th. These science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) based programs are facilitated at the Child Creativity Lab Depot for Creative Reuse Center in Santa Ana and directly on-site at schools, after-school programs, libraries, community events, faith-based organizations, and more via our outreach program.
