We are looking for someone, preferably with a background or goal in journalism or writing degree, to interview our dancers periodically for publications across social media postings/blogs. Could be conducted via email or over the phone with artists, or if in NYC area could attend one of our performances and interview dancers before/after or write a piece about the performance for use on social media by the Company.

Mission Statement
The Ajkun Ballet Theatre is home to the Ajkun Ballet Company, the Ajkun Ballet School, and the AjkunBT Fund. The Not-For-Profit, in New York City since 2001, fosters the philosophy and creative vision of choreographer and cultural leader Chiara Ajkun. Our Mission is to provide an outstanding experience in the Art of Dance to Audiences of all backgrounds, to support and foster the talent of Dancers and Choreographers, and to provide financial aid to the Artists Community at large.
Description
The Theater presents Live Shows of the Ajkun Ballet Company spanning from 19th century classics to compelling new choreography performed by award-winning Artists in New York. The Ballet School trains dancers to join any world-class company and offers dance performance programs to our local youth. The AjkunBT Fund grants financial aid to Dance Students and Professional Dancers to pave their way to success. 125 volunteers help us accomplish our mission and we look forward to hearing from you!
