Create Now transforms the lives of youth in need through creative arts mentoring and opportunities. We match children ages 2-21 who have been abused, neglected, orphaned, homeless, runaways, substance abusers, domestic violence victims or incarcerated with artists, writers, musicians, actors, dancers and other creative individuals. Create Now provides training and materials to teach therapeutic programs in music, writing, visual arts, dance, theatre and more.

Each year, we also bring thousands of these forgotten children who have fallen through the cracks to concerts, plays and other cultural events at premiere venues in the region. We have reached 35,000 of the most troubled youth in Southern California during the last 18 years.

Some of the kids we serve have a fantastic opportunity to play guitar on the stage of the House of Blues in Hollywood on Saturday morning, May 9th. Two groups will be performing first at around 10:00 am. We want to shoot several angles of their performances and then find an editor to cut a short video about it. This will include interviews with the kids about their experiences, which may not be able to take place until the event is over at 12:00 pm.

Do you have professional experience shooting video in a dark club iike the House of Blues? And preferably, do you have your own equipment. If not, we have Canon Rebel cameras.
