Be an event intern and help children and adults with physical disabilities in developing countries! Mobility Outreach International needs interns to help with our 13th annual dinner and auction benefit that will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, WA. Steps to Healing is Mobility Outreach International’s most prominent annual fundraiser. Special Event Interns play a vital role preparing for this event - procuring auction items, designing the auction catalog, choosing décor, assembling auction packages, assisting with the set up and more!
This position requires functional research skills; excellent written and oral communication skills; a cordial and serious telephone manner; a professional and enthusiastic attitude; a high level of organization; good interpersonal skills; writing skills. The Intern/Volunteer should have experience with the following computer applications: Word and Excel, social media, and internet research/search engines. The Intern/Volunteer should be able to devote 10 hours/week to the position.
