The Mission Continues 2nd Platoon is seeking volunteers to help the Austin Childcare Providers Network in building a new community center to serve families in their neighborhood. This should be the third and final stage in our mission to clear out the burned out building that they would like to use as a community center. Let’s get out there and finish this project strong! Just like last time, we are going to knock down some walls, tear out some flooring, and haul out the trash.
All tools and safety equipment will be provided. Make sure to dress for the weather! Check the temperature outside and dress appropriately. For this project it is best to wear long pants and long sleeves due to all the dust and dirt present.
Lunch will also be provided along with a Mission Continues t-shirt if this is your first time volunteering with us.
Volunteers will work side by side with Veterans to make an important impact on a local community!
If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Ellen Puglisi at epuglisi@voail.org
