Durant-Kenrick House

Are you detail oriented, computer savvy, and interested in historic documents? Help us better understand the history of the Durant-Kenrick House and Grounds by transcribing the inventory of a 19th-century catalog from the Kenrick Nursery into a spreadsheet. Historic Newton staff and garden volunteers use the information from these catalogs to help plan gardens and interpretation at the museum. This volunteer project can be done at the Durant-Kenrick House and Grounds or can be done remotely. The position requires sitting, screen reading, and use of a computer. The project timeline can be arranged between the project supervisor and volunteer.
