Join the Friends of Fahnestock & Hudson Highlands State Parks in celebrating the fourth annual I Love My Park Day. I Love My Park Day is an exciting statewide event to improve and enhance New York's parks and historic sites and bring visibility to the entire park system and its needs. The goal will be to continue the clean-up of the area around the facinating Northgate ruins of the "Cornish Estate." Volunteers should wear appropriate clothing and footwear, bring gloves, and (if available) clippers, shovels, and rakes. There is poison ivy, so long pants and long sleeves are recommended. Appropriate for ages 13 and older. Those interested should meet at the Little Stony Point Parking Lot (on Route 9D in Cold Spring, NY), south of Main Street/Route 301.
