We are a small non-profit nursing home in central Berkeley located close to public transportation. Each week we make up a menu for the next week's meals, and our residents get to choose what they want to eat.
We are in need of a volunteer to review & record menu choices with some of our more cognitive residents on a weekly basis. This is a great chance to make a connection with about a dozen of our elders each week.
We prefer a volunteer available Wednesday mornings but could also work with someone available Thursday afternoons or Friday mornings.
We ask that you volunteer 1.5-2 hours per week. Dependability, maturity, patience, and enjoyment of elders a must!
