We are looking for men and women, ages 13-over, to pledge our community service fraternity for ONE YEAR and help us do random acts of kindness that impact every day people in major ways.

Our organization is named Nu Sigma Theta ( www.sigmathetas.org) and we were formed for community service and social networking. We are an "offshoot" of another organization and are crossing our first classes in June!!! Working together, we do virtual and physical acts of kindness as well as more formalized community service projects. But we are not all work - we have fun too!

As of today's writing, we have at least one member in NY, NJ, CT, PA, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, IL, MN, UT, MI, Kenya, Nigeria, Australia and Poland. Our home chapter is developing in Rahway, New Jersey! Our next project is a "random acts of kindness" to benefit students who have overcome the odds to graduate from high school.

To qualify, you must have (or create) a Facebook page. Over the next seven weeks, you will pledge "virtually" on Facebook. Twice a week, we will post information about our organization (mission, vision, core values, charitable work) and your only job is to read and "like" each comment. After seven weeks you "crossover" into membership and then the real work begins. Again, you'll stay with us for one year and then you'll move on (but if you like us, you really - really like us, you can stay with us for as long as you want!).
