The services provided by volunteers are essential to the success of all our programs. Pal-O-Mine's Volunteers assist in many different ways.
On lessons, volunteers are trained as leaders and side-walkers. Participating in lessons means being physically fit enough to walk 30-45 minute intervals.
In and around the barn, volunteers are trained to clean tack (saddles and bridles), muck (cleaning horse paddocks), organize and clean our groom boxes and clean the volunteer lounge.
Special event days: Volunteers participate by working registration, selling food and raffle tickets, helping with arts and crafts, selling Pal-O-Mine merchandise and various other activities depending on the event.
