Opportunity for Public Diplomacy and promoting peace, by hosting a foreign exchange high school student
Besides various interests and personalities, these kids also bring their unique cultures.
Connect with the big world through host an international student, now you have the chance!
You do not need to have children to host, ALL families are welcome to host. AFS celebrates the diversity of what it means to be a family.
You are perfect for us if:
- Have a bedroom.
- Interested in cross-culture communication
- Would like to volunteer with your own family
- Willing to get your kids an international sibling.
As a host family, you will provide your student with:
1. The opportunity to participate in your family’s daily lives and events2. The same care, support, and comfort you would another member of your family
3. A bed, not convertible or inflatable in nature; sharing a room with a sibling of the same gender close in age is fine
4. Three quality meals, including lunches and meals eaten as a family in restaurants Please contact Amanda for more information.
