New Lands Farm is a farmer collective launched to enable resettled refugees and immigrants stay connected with their agricultural traditions. We are looking for interns to work with our staff on the farm. Projects may include: ordering equipment, field tasks, planning and organizing events and volunteer days, media assistance and documenting the season, harvesting, attending farmers' markets, and more!
This position is unpaid, hours are based on intern's needs, and college credit is available. The intern must have a driver's license, be comfortable interacting with a diverse team, be able to work in adverse weather conditions and lift 50 pounds.
