Lighthouse Care is looking for hospice volunteers to assist with our field-volunteer duties. Our volunteer department provides indirect patient-care services to patients and their loved ones. We are really experiencing a need for volunteers in the Long Beach/South LA areas but also service all of greater Los Angeles. We welcome applicants ages 18 and above who have reliable transportation and express abundant compassion. Patient-care volunteers help by providing a listening ear, writing and reading to and for the patient, playing board games, and more. For more information, please don't hesitate to contact me!
