Event Day Volunteers

The day of event volunteer opportunities will help to ensure a positive participant event experience. We want all of our participants to have a meaningful event experience and keep them coming back year after year.

o 11:15 a.m. Route Monitors - Enhance the participant experience by directing the flow and cheering on the walkers along the route.

o 11:15 a.m. Clipboard Brigade/Greeters - Enhance the participant experience by directing participants to the check-in tent as they arrive at the walk.

o 10:30 a.m. Survivorship - Congratulate and honor our cancer survivors in the survivorship tent, and encourage any cancer survivors you know to come out to the walk and be honored

o 9:00 a.m. Early Bird - Arrive early and help set up water stations, registration, etc. (This is great for those volunteers who want to help set up prior to walking the route or assist in another area.)

o 1:00 p.m. Late Risers - Help wrap-up the event by breaking down tables, chairs, and loading supply boxes.

o 8:30 a.m. Volunteer Check-In - Greet our day of event volunteers, and help them to their assigned volunteer area.
