Need Saavy, Responsible people to verify funds at an event

We are hosting our premier jail themed fundraiser, the Downtown Charleston Lock Up, at the Harbor Club at 35 Prioleau Street on Thursday, May 7th, 2015 from 10am to 2pm.

We need some responsible, detail oriented, money saavy people to assist with our checkout process.

Check Out Station (2 Volunteers): (9:30am-1:30pm)

As the jailbirds are leaving, they will stop by the check-out station to have their money totaled. Volunteers at this station are responsible for tallying each type of income (cash, checks, credit cards, pledges, online total) and recording the totals on an accounting form. It is very important that the pledge slips and the credit card slips are counted seperately, as they look very similar. The yellow copy will be given to the jailbird. The cash, checks, pledge slips and credit card slips will be folded into the accounting form and deposited in the drop box for the teller to verify. Jailbirds are then directed to the gift table.
