Do you have a gift for music and want to share it with others in need? Please help bring our terminally ill patients peace and comfort by spending time with them and playing music they can enjoy!
Our hospice volunteers visit termially ill patients once per week to help support our patients and families in their time of need. Visits usually take place once per week and last one to four hours. If you have a love and talent for music, please consider sharing it with someone in need by signing up to be a hospice volunteer.

Description
Medi Home Health & Hospice of Petersburg, Virginia provides compassionate care to patients residing in the south central part of the state. The service area includes Petersburg, Hopewell, Prince George, Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Colonial Heights, Emporia, Brunswick, Nottoway, Lunenburg, Mecklenburg, Sussex, and South Hampton.
Through an interdisciplinary team approach of Medical Directors, nurses, social workers, chaplains, therapists, and volunteers, hospice provides quality care to patients with life-limiting illness and support for their families. We strive to provide education and direct care to patients for an improved quality of life with a sense of comfort and dignity and to support families as they move beyond their loss. An active Hospice Volunteer Program supplements our hospice care program by providing patients friendly visits from our volunteers for companionship and support.
