We are the future of sustainable energy in Alabama. The Alabama Center for Sustainable Energy (ALCSE) is seeking an energetic, creative graphic designer. This individual must have a positive outlook and a passion for creating change in the world through their talents. You must be artistically inclined and have the ability to blend well with our unique office culture. Please submit a cover letter telling us why you are THE BEST fit. Compensation and Benefits:

• We will work with your schedule! There are no set hours.
• College credit is available to those eligible.
• Please bring a computer daily.

Key Results Areas:

• Design digital and print collateral for campaigns and large scale events
• Produce marketing materials like pitch decks, one-pagers, and donor materials
• Help develop the ALCSE brand through collateral and digital creation(s)
• Assist the Marketing Team in the creation of website assets, as well as brainstorm website improvements and testing via UX best practices
• Assist in-house photo and video shoots
• Create logos, banners, fliers, and advertisements to be displayed to supporters
• Create digital assets for social media channels and email
• Follow your passions: we'll let you actively choose many of your tasks depending on your skills and talents

About You:

• Passion for sustainable energy
• Recent recipient of/working towards design-oriented undergraduate degree
• Mastery of full Adobe creative suite, specifically Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
• Independent and solution-oriented worker
• Basic photography/videography knowledge
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
• Excellent attention to detail and dedicated work ethic
• Demonstrable understanding of and skill in design, layout, color, and typography
