ORGANIZATION: Medi Home Health & Hospice

Do you have a passion for crocheting, knitting, sewing, or other sorts of crafting and want to give back to your community? Why not volunteer for Medi Hospice by visiting our patients near you who once had the same passion for crafting fabrics? Help our hospice patients start a new needle crafting project or create something for the patient and their family to remember them by.

Visits take place once a week for one to four hours per week and a hospice volunteer training program helps new volunteers feel comfortable visiting patients at the end of life. Bring a smile to a patient's face and help their family in this time of need.

Please contact Travis Kennedy, Volunteer Coordinator at (804) 282-4301 or by e-mail at tkennedy@msa-corp.com.
