ORGANIZATION: Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center

The Turning Point Administrative Support Staff Volunteer will support agency efforts for effectively managing daily operations. He/she will help support the office manager and support staff in effectively supplying the agency with needed materials (copying, shredding, faxing, etc.), organizing materials, and maintaining confidentiality when handling classified documents.

The volunteer will:

  1. Assisting with filing and organizational support

  2. Assisting with preparation for meetings, including preparing created documents and packets, various document updates, assisting with ensuring in-place filing system is maintained, creation and distribution of nametags and place cards.

  3. Assist support staff in the maintenance of all client charts, ensuring confidentiality, integrity and preciseness.

  4. Assist in maintaining databases and spreadsheets using Microsoft Access and Excel

  5. Assist as needed providing support to all Turning Point Staff including but not limited to: typing, data entry, arranging meetings, project work and other support tasks.

  6. Assisting with organizing and preparing materials for agency events.

  7. Perform receptionist responsibilities, including but not limited to: coverage of front desk operations; timely completion of all data entry; daily filing of client reports; pulling and filing of client charts and opening and closing procedures.

  8. Assist with maintenance staff with stocking supplies.

  9. Assisting Billing staff by updating records and organizing data for client reauthorizations and using data entry for our electronic medical record software.

We guide you through the most frightening and difficult steps and decisions you face and help to ensure that you maintain your legal rights. We provide solid support, every step of the way, recognizing each client’s efforts to change, stabilize and grow.
