The Sewing Instructor would be responsible for teaching participants the basic techniques of sewing. The instructor will also teach participants about all the machine parts and their functions, taking accurate measurments, buying patterns and fabrics, pattern layout, reading pattern symbols, cutting skills and basic sewing and altering.

Mission Statement
The Helene S. Mills Senior Multipurpose Facility offers a continuum of services and programs for seniors who reside in Fulton County through the Fulton County Aging and Children and Youth Services Department.
Services are provided through partnerships and contracts with community based organizations in conjunction with the Older Americans Act Program.
Description
The Helene S. Mills Senior Multipurpose Facility is a focal point in the community to enrich the minds, bodies and spirits of independent seniors age 55 years if age and older.
Programs and services offered a the Mills Facility include land fitness classes, aquatics fitness classes, life enrichment classes, computer classes and an array of clubs and activities.
