ArtCenter Manatee is changing things up - again! Starting April 25, we will be receiving artwork for two new shows, Splash of Color and Black & White. Receiving day includes inspecting artwork, entry completion, payment collection, data entry and is from 9 am to 1 pm. Presentation day is on April 27, and entails hanging and labeling of artwork and is from 9:45 until about 3. The opening reception is on April 30 from 4:30 - 7:15 and includes greeting, bartending, serving appetizers and desserts and clean up. If you've never had the opportunity to see how a gallery changes an exhibit, now is your chance!

The mission of ArtCenter Manatee is to provide a welcoming, professional environment, educate novice and experienced artists of all ages, provide galleries to exhibit and market original artwork and enhance the visual arts in Manatee County through special events and outreach programs.

ArtCenter Manatee - past, present + future
ArtCenter Manatee, formerly Art League of Manatee County, is a nonprofit organization in Manatee County focused on art education for adults and children and exhibition of local, regional and national visual artists' work. Founded in 1937, ArtCenter Manatee has been particularly focused on community enhancement with involvement in the Bradenton GeckoFest and the newly formed Bradenton Cultural and Business Alliance which seeks to enhance the downtown Bradenton economy through arts and culture. The ArtCenter also collaborates with other nonprofit organizations to provide art classes and experiences for the underprivileged.
