RG patient education/content developer will design, develop, author and implement engaging assessment materials for RG rare disease websites and podcasts. The content developer works with scientific education team to map scientific material competencies and skills, topics, objectives, and assessment materials into program design matrixes to demonstrate that information is timely updated. Design and develop assessment activities, including assessment questions, simulations and reusable objects and templates using a variety of tools and applications

Position Responsibilities:

• The content developer will also collaborate with the Scientific Project Management team to create and revise design templates, formats and modules to support assessment materials.

• Manage web traffic and analyze alterations accordingly to improve the rare disease networking and outreach.

• Project management along with scientific development advertising using Ad words and other tools, implementation and optimization.

• Validating contents for accuracy and usability using support communications and ensure adherence to goals set by the scientific project management and education team

• To find out the right place for the placement of contents in the website to develop the reachability and act as a traffic manager for the scientific web content and various scientific education events.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

• Demonstrated experience in educational technology or hypermedia production (video, webcasts, podcasts) is a plus.

• Expert level writing, editing, and reviewing skills.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Demonstrated ability to develop creative, high-quality assessment questions and course evaluations focusing on all levels of critical thinking.

• Ability to communicate effectively; coordinate complex activities with multiple parties; work effectively with assessment design members and SMEs from diverse backgrounds.

• Ability to research work independently; prioritize work and meet deadlines.

• Ability to learn new software and web-based environments quickly.

• Ability to work well in a fast paced, team environment, while still accomplishing individual tasks and goals.
