Now seeking volunteers to help at the 2015 Walk Like MADD!

Two out of three people will be involved in a drunk driving crash in their lifetime. Walk Like MADD-Twin Cities is MADD Minnesota's signature 5k walk event raising awareness and funds to bring an end drunk driving across the state. This year's event will be held Saturday, May 30 at Como Regional Park in St. Paul.

We are looking for people to help the day of Walk Like MADD. The hours are from 7 am- 2 pm. You can choose the early shift (7 am - 11 am), late shift (11 am - 2 pm), or all day. Areas to help out include the route set up, walker check in and registration, cheering at the start/finish line, the Health & Safety Fair, clean up crew, greeters, traffic directors, decorating, the last walker, Checkpoint Stations, and the Hospitality Area. We would love to have you join us to help support victims/survivors of this 100% preventable crime.

Mission Statement

The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving is to stop drunk driving, to support the victims of this violent crime and to prevent underage drinking.

Description

MADD is a 5013c organization that is a volunteer grassroots based and organizes chapters and community action teams to work in their counties and communities to fullfil the mission statement. Most of our volunteer positions are leadership positions and are/or will be come leaders in thier communities. Victim services, public education, court montering, programs, youth groups are all a part of MADD.
