CCFA's mission is to find a cure and improve the lives of the 1.6 million children and adults affected by these digestive diseases. There are more than 140 walks across the 50 states! Take Steps events feature food, music, kids’ activities and fun for the whole family! Description
The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation is committed to eradicating two life-changing and potentially life-threatening chronic digestive diseases. Collectively known as inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), these illnesses affect over 1.6 million Americans, including more than 125,000 people in the 7 counties our chapter serves. Throughout the year the Foundation hosts special events to fulfill its mission to find cures by funding cutting-edge biomedical research, and to provide support support groups, patient and professional educational programs, and a summer camp for our children with IBD.
