St. JamesImmigrant Assistance helps immigrants and refugees to learn English, prepare and apply for citizenship, apply for Deferred Action, and find community resources to address other challenges in their lives. Attend our upcoming Volunteer Information Session on Thursday, May 28, from 11:00am-12:30pm to learn more about our non-sectarian ministry including the many ways in which you can serve. Bring your questions to the St. James Parish Pastoral Outreach Center at 907 Columbia Street. Enter through the courtyard and come to the last room on the left.

Our mission is to promote an inclusive society and advance justice for refugees and immigrants through education, advocacy, and by helping the most isolated refugees and immigrants to learn English, become citizens and connect to community resources. We support the integration of refugees and immigrants into the larger community, and recognize that this is a shared process involving both immigrants and the communities into which they move.

We serve the community by providing free and low-cost Immigrant Assistance refugees and immigrants throughout King County.
