Position: Data entry and Raiser’s Edge Volunteer/Intern.
Purpose of Position: To provide a hands-on learning opportunity to a college student interested in pursuing a career in philanthropy, development, alumni relations, special events or annual giving.
What you will receive: Training in Raiser’s Edge (RE) software.
Experience entering date in RE and becoming familiar with RE features.
Experience working in a school setting.
Experience working in a team environment.
A recommendation when applying for jobs.
Job Description: Data entry in RE, including names, dates, events, and notes/comments. Updating addresses and contact information.
Use of best practices in confidentiality.
Other duties will be based on your skill set and strengths.
Hours Worked: At the discretion of the employee and supervisor. Generally not to exceed 10 hours per week. Accommodations to the weekly number of hours can be made based on the work and school demands of either party.
Skills Required: Excellent attention to detail, very organized, proficiency with computers, ability to work independently, goal oriented.
Must sign confidentiality agreement, pass background check and have letters of reference.
Time period: To begin right away and work through the summer or longer.
