We're throwing a party on Southland Drive and you're invited! Festivities, local food and retail vendors, biking demonstrations, and live bluegrass music will be available in a blocked off section of Southland Drive and the adjacent parking lots. In conjunction with the festivities, we will have an official ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening of the Southland bike lanes, an infrastructure amenity that will continue to enhance the economic development for Lexington’s oldest retail corridor. Afterwards, community members will lead a ceremonial family bike ride on the new bike lanes. A party of this magnitude will require a lot of support!
We are seeking fun, smiling volunteers to help us throw this shindig. Most shifts are just two hours so you will have plenty of time to enjoy the festivities AND you get a free T-shirt!

The Lexington Habitat for Humanity ReStore is Lexington's only not-for-profit building supply resource that reinvests 100% of its profits into Habitat for Humanity. We sell donated treasures to the public all while keeping 5,000 pounds out of the waste stream daily!
We are looking for friends to join us in a variety of capacities; customer service representatives, department managers, social media gurus, and donor ambassadors!
Tell us your area of interest and we can tailor a volunteer opportunity to suit you!
The ReStore works hard, with volunteers like you, to keep prices low and serve families in Fayette County! Join us!
