Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Children's Home Society of FL

The Choices program at Children's Home Society of Florida is intended to provide cultural arts programming and access to different creative outlets for youth living in our residential facility, Safe Harbor Center. We are looking for individuals to teach beginner level drums to youth ages 13 - 18.

The program takes place weekday evenings beginning at 6:00PM. Ideally, volunteers come at least once a week on the same day, but there is some room for flexibility. A one hour commitment per week is preferred.

The volunteer must be a high school graduate and be able to pass a criminal background screening including fingerprints. We ask the volunteer to cover the cost of the screening ($25) however, this will be reimbursed after the volunteer completes twenty hours.
