Our Advocacy Support Team works diligently to assist our clients in a variety of ways, sometimes duties include being the friendly face that greets a new clients or helps them learn their way around our shelter. You might hold or play with a child while their parent works with an advocate. You might prepare a room for client arrival, answer our business phone line, help with organizational needs, teach a client a special skill you have, or just be available for someone who has not had a kind person in their life. Our shelter is a 24/7 facility. We are open 365 days a year and therefore our need for volunteers is great. You can volunteer during times that work with your schedule, daytimes, evenings, weekends are all options! All members of our Advocacy Support Team must be 18 years or older and may not have any history of violent criminal activity.

The mission of Bolton Refuge House, Inc. is to offer safety, support, education, and alternatives that will empower victims and enhance the safety and well-being of domestic violence and/or sexually assaulted victims by specifically addressing their needs on an individual and community basis.
Description
Bolton Refuge House, Inc. (BRH), is a service provider for victims and survivors of domestic and dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and/or child abuse. BRH has been providing safety and support for victims since 1976 in Eau Claire, Jackson, Trempeleau, Buffalo, and surrounding counties in Wisconsin.
