Mission Statement

Walk2Learn International (W2LI) was founded in 2009 to promote equal access to educational and health opportunities by providing learning and health resources to children and families in underserved communities. We achieve our mission by supporting the optimal education of underprivileged children between the ages of 0 and 18 through book donation , reading clubs, library projects and teacher training for children living in dire, as well as improving the quality of healthcare services.

Description

Walk2Learn International’s programs are developed and implemented in alignment with the Millennium Development Goals which acknowledges education and better health as an indispensable means for people to realize their fullest potential. Our programs are consistent with our mission and serves as guide to address key global issues and gaps related to education and health in underprivileged and underserved communities. Our goal is to promote new knowledge about how interventions work, for whom, and under what conditions and how they can be scaled up to improve health equity for women and children.
