First big planting day at the Kane Street Community Garden -- Saturday April 18th 9 am - 1 pm The wet and cold weather seems to be ending. Lets hope it stays warm and dry this week so we can have a big day of planting at the community garden. Weather permitting we will be planting seeds for lettuce, spinach, kohlrabi, radish, turnips, beets, and carrots. We will be planting bulbs for shallots. And we will start to transplant the onion plants that have been grown by the horticulture students at WTC. Vollunteers like you help to get all of that done! Feel free to drop by for some or all of the time from 9 am to 1 pm.
