Healthy Horizons Sharing Table Coordinator is in charge of operation and management of our Sharing Table at Oakhill Jackson Community Church. S/He ensures order of the distribution process and that the Sharing Table is fair for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Weigh produce and bread on scale at site
• Setting up the table by organizing and arranging the produce and bakery items in a logical, neat matter
• Breaking down empty boxes and taking them out to the dumpster
• Handing out numbers to individuals to provide a way for you to call them up in an orderly manner
• Assist individuals as they go through the line and remind them to only take as much as they can eat

Headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Horizons provides a variety of services across East Central Iowa including Financial Health & Wellness Counseling Services, Family Outreach Programs (Family Support, The Survivors’ Program), Meals On Wheels, and Mental Health Counseling. Our Neighborhood Transportation Service also provides affordable night and weekend transportation to work, job training, and night classes when the city buses don't operate.
